Bushra Bibi moves IHC for move to Adiala prison

Urges revocation of notice proclaiming Banigala sub-prison, demands prompt exchange ISLAMABAD: PTI organizer Imran Khan's better half Bushra Bibi on Tuesday recorded a request in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) looking for the cancellation of the warning to transform the previous head's Banigala home into a sub-prison for the previous first woman and requesting her exchange to Adiala prison. Bushra following her 14-year conviction in the Toshakhana case and her confinement at Banigala, mentioned in her appeal to dissolve the state's January 31 warning of transforming Imran's home into a sub-prison for Bushra in line with the prison director. The request named Islamabad's central chief, the Adiala prison administrator, the examiner general (IG) of Punjab jails and the state as respondents for the situation. Critics of Trump believe Antonin Scalia will be able to influence the Supreme Court in the 14th Amendment case

  As they argue their case before the Supreme Court, liberal groups are looking to an unexpected source—the late Justice Antonin Scalia and a number of the court's current conservatives—in an attempt to prevent former President Donald Trump from being considered for the office due to his involvement in the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The opposition to Trump is pointing to a concurring opinion from the late Justice Scalia (2014), a champion of the conservative legal movement who passed away in 2016, as proof that past presidents are covered by the 14th Amendment's "insurrectionist ban" in addition to regular government employees. Whether Trump may run for president again will be decided by the outcome of the landmark lawsuit. The oral arguments are set for Thursday of next week.
